A First Year at Smith
this site hasn’t updated in months, sorry! we have all been busy actually living our Smith lives and becoming involved in different things.
update: i’ve fallen in love with smith rugby and am public relations chair this semester, VP of emerson, and i’m taking an amazing schedule of classes including intro to swag, intro to political thinking, arabic, middle eastern americans, and pilates. I have an interview this sunday for a job at Pride and Joy in Thornes and then a phone interview with massachusetts transgender political coalition on tuesday!
i have the best friends in the entire world and i can’t wait to see how this semester goes.

Smithies, we gotta get on this. As a group. Because this is not okay. Telling people they have to withhold themselves from activities based on identity (not because a potential prospie is uncomfortable, which would make sense, but just because one identities as male, period) is just so f**ked up.

I am required to write about queer sex far more often than I have it.
My momma is coming tomorrow and even though I just saw her a couple weeks ago I’m still really excited. She is my best friend and the best mom in the world. The other day she posts on my fb wall “wearing some purple today baby!!” for Spirit Day, it made me so happy. So none of the three of us have really been updating this at all so I’ll just update for all three of us because it’s Friday and I’m fucking bored. So classes thus far are great except astronomy which if any of you have had a conversation with me know that I HATE IT, so much. Arabic is my favorite class and I’m doing really well surprisingly. I also really enjoy sociology despite all the “that girls” in the class and my english is pretty chill as well. I’m playing rugby, duh and it is absolutely amazing. My rugby sib is the best person in the whole world and i love him. We have gotten really close and it’s like having the big brother i always wanted.
Jess is our vice president! Kicking ass and taking names, of course. So proud of my baby grl.
Charlye is also kicking ass and taking names but in ultimate frisbee! Best bro forevahhh.
